The Long Standing Son

The long-standing son says ‘I will stand here until my breath perishes’.
His mother smiles proudly about her sweet son’s idiosyncrasies.

The wind upon his face says more than a melody.
An optimistic soul wants his heart to thump always in his father’s soil and vicinity.

‘These old lanes walk with the nostalgic music of barber’s shop.
He cannot help but keep coming back to his childhood galleries.

He has traveled a long distance; he has covered every life amusing distance.
The only place that calls his name is where he wants to build his final residence.’

The long-standing son says I know I own my place, no matter what they say I never going to sell it for fake grace.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The groundhogs came with the glitters, to lure him away with their twitters.
However, like a farmer his love for his land can never become pale
He can surpass any given bait.

‘In the middle of chaos when everyone is running out, the long standing son is holding his ground.’

They put a bruise on his head and blood spot on his shirt.
The long-standing son is lying very thin. In his last remaining dusted shirt.

They ask him to surrender.
They ask him to be real for this unreal world.

With no sign of tears in his mother eyes, as there a light still in the sky.
His heart stimulate ‘you cannot lay down when you have an iron will’.

On the ground, above the line he stands firm before the old house line.
With glory personified, his dignity has returned real high..

He tells this world no matter how hard you are influence.
I am going to stay in this land, and will build a wall as strong as nobody can.

No one can withstand, an honest son love for his land.
Without any blink the last standing son, has won his battle

The dictator groundhog is gone, now you can hear a sparrow singing its old song.

With Support to the cause of my friend movement for the beauty of his father's land.
